About this recipe
This air fryer salmon bites recipe uses a short lemon-and-paprika seasoning rather than a soy-based glaze. Small, evenly cut pieces cook quickly in the circulating heat of an air fryer. This is a recipe developed from standard cooking methods, not a claim of independent kitchen testing. The food image is a 3D illustration.
Salmon bites in air fryer: time and temperature
For thawed cubes about 1 1/4 inches across, begin checking after 7 minutes at 375°F (190°C). Many batches will need about 7–10 minutes, but thickness, starting temperature and the appliance all change the result. Use a thermometer in a thick piece and finish at 145°F (63°C). The 20-minute total assumes one batch and includes preparation; cooking a second batch adds time.
Keep the fish tender without a sticky sauce
Dry the surface before adding the measured oil and spices. A light coating is enough; a pool of marinade makes browning harder. Keep the pieces separate rather than stacking them. Add lemon after cooking so its fresh acidity stays noticeable and the basket is not filled with liquid. Remove the fish once it reaches the required temperature instead of continuing until every side has a dark crust.
Ingredients and serving ideas
Use plain salmon, individual spices and fresh lemon. The recipe needs no soy sauce, mirin, cooking wine or prepared glaze. If using a spice blend instead of the listed spices, check the label and adjust the salt. Serve with vegetables or rice cooked separately. This is a different method from the site’s honey garlic salmon: bite-size pieces, an air fryer and a dry paprika coating replace the skillet glaze.
